Privacy Policy

Lone Star Payments, LLC (“Lone Star Payments,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site only; information collected when you apply for or use a merchant account is additionally governed by the agreements and privacy notices of the applicable processors and sponsoring banks.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit a contact form, request a quote or statement review, take our solution quiz, subscribe to updates, or apply to our partner program, we collect the information you enter — typically your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message. If you send us a merchant statement for review, that document may contain your current processor, pricing, and volume information.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we (and any analytics tools we enable with your consent) may collect device and usage information: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and general (city-level) location inferred from IP. See Cookies below.

What we do not collect on this Site. We do not ask for and you should not submit cardholder data (full card numbers, CVV), Social Security numbers, or passwords through Site forms.

2. How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide quotes, statement reviews, and consultations you request;
  • To process partner program applications;
  • To send updates, articles, and offers you've signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site;
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • With processing partners and sponsoring banks when you ask us to obtain a quote, underwrite an application, or provision a product on your behalf;
  • With service providers that host the Site, deliver email, or provide analytics — bound to use it only on our behalf;
  • For legal reasons, if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, safety, or property;
  • In a business transfer, if Lone Star Payments is merged or acquired, in which case this policy continues to apply to previously collected data.

4. Cookies

5. Your privacy rights

Texas residents. Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, access it, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. To exercise a right, contact us using the details below; we will respond within the time required by law, and you may appeal a refusal by replying to our decision.

Other jurisdictions. If privacy laws of another state or country apply to you (for example, the CCPA for California residents or the GDPR for EEA visitors), you may have similar rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection. We honor verified requests as required by the law that applies to you.

We will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

6. Data retention

We keep inquiry and quote information for as long as needed to serve you and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, then delete or de-identify it. Statement documents shared for review are deleted once the review is complete unless you become a customer and ask us to retain them. Legal, tax, and contractual records are kept as required by law.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold — the same discipline we bring to payment security for our merchants. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so please use good judgment about what you send through any website form.

8. Children

The Site is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
